PostSnail Adds Signed Site Moves for Domain Changes

PostSnail now has public docs for Site Moves, and the repo shows the path toward handling domain changes with signed proof.

The live documentation says a creator can sign a postsnail-site-move record when a shell changes domains. It also describes two modes:

• move — hide the old indexed site from Forest search after verification
• mirror — keep both domains visible as mirrored homes

Recent GitHub commits show the implementation path behind that documentation:

• Add signed Forest domain moves
• Use last export for domain moves
• Allow admin live proof verification

That is a useful pattern for creator-owned publishing. A domain change is not just a rename. It is a publishing event that should carry proof with it.

Why this matters

Forest is a discovery layer, not the source of truth. When a site moves, the tracker should not guess based on matching titles or leftover links. A signed move record gives Forest a clearer signal while still keeping the creator in control.
